About you

Two steps, about 10 minutes in all.

With the country code, for example +91.

Do I need prior AI safety knowledge?
Yes. You will be organising and running the group, so a basic understanding of AI safety matters. If you are new to it, start with BlueDot’s courses before you apply.
What does running a group look like week to week?
You run a course at your club or community, in person or online, and discuss AI safety material with your members. There are two tracks: Technical AI Safety and AI Governance. Explore both before you apply.
How much time does it take each week?
As an organiser, expect 3 to 5 hours a week. It depends on how many activities you run. A group doing only weekly readings is at the lower end.
Is there a stipend or funding for organisers?
Yes. Stipends are available for research projects, weekly meetings and food. Details are shared after selection.
What happens after I apply?
We review your application and call shortlisted candidates for an interview. After selection, you are onboarded into a cohort with other university organisers across India.
